PENNSYLVANIA – During these midterms, Governor Josh Shapiro led the fight to flip the U.S. House of Representatives and put a check on Donald Trump’s chaos, cruelty, and corruption — from supporting our Democratic Congressional candidates, to investing in and building a strong Pennsylvania Democratic Party.

The Governor has been focused on winning races all across Pennsylvania in order to elect leaders who will fight for working families, lower costs, and hold Trump and his enablers accountable — and tonight, Pennsylvania flipped all four targeted GOP Congressional seats.

Following Bob Harvie’s victory in PA-01, Governor Shapiro released the following statement:

Governor Josh Shapiro: Tonight, Bucks County showed up to reject the chaos, cruelty, and corruption in Washington — and to vote for a public servant who knows what it means to show up, deliver for his community, and get things done.

Congratulations, Congressman-elect Bob Harvie!

Following Bob Brooks’ victory in PA-07, Governor Shapiro released the following statement:

Governor Josh Shapiro: Bob Brooks has spent his life running towards danger to keep his community safe — and I know he’ll do the same in Congress.

I’m proud to have stood with Bob from Day One, I’m proud to call him a partner in this work — and to keep fighting for the Lehigh Valley together. Congratulations, Congressman-elect Brooks! 🇺🇸

Following Paige Cognetti’s victory in PA-08, Governor Shapiro released the following statement:

Governor Josh Shapiro: Paige Cognetti knows what it means to take on big fights and get things done — and I know she’ll do the same in Congress.

Proud to have been in this fight with Paige from Day One. Congratulations to my friend, Congresswoman-elect Paige Cognetti!

Following Janelle Stelson’s victory in PA-10, Governor Shapiro released the following statement:

Governor Josh Shapiro: Janelle Stelson has spent decades showing up and listening to Central Pennsylvania families — and I know she’ll bring their voices with her to the halls of Congress.

Congratulations, Congresswoman-elect Janelle Stelson!
