Governor Shapiro is fighting to flip Pennsylvania’s four key Congressional seats and put a check on Donald Trump’s chaos, cruelty, and corruption

PENNSYLVANIA – Governor Josh Shapiro hit the ground running this week – energizing Pennsylvanians after several big wins across the Commonwealth at a primary night rally and kicking off the general election by rallying voters with PA-08 Democratic House Congressional candidate and Scranton Mayor Paige Cognetti.

On Tuesday, Governor Shapiro and Lieutenant Governor Austin Davis kicked off the general election with a show of strength and momentum in Bucks County. Governor Shapiro and Lt. Governor Davis laid out the stakes of the midterms and their commitment to elect strong Democratic leaders up and down the ballot this November.

In Tuesday’s primaries, Pennsylvania Democrats nominated the Governor’s four endorsed Congressional candidates in the Commonwealth’s key competitive seats. So far this election cycle, Governor Shapiro has invested over $1.5 million in the organizing work and party infrastructure the Pennsylvania Democratic Party needs to win up and down the ballot in November and beyond.

On Wednesday, Governor Shapiro hit the road – starting Day One of the general election in Wyoming, PA to meet voters and rally support for Mayor Paige Cognetti, who will deliver for Pennsylvania families and stand up to Donald Trump and his corrupt Administration.
