Throughout the fall, Lt. Governor Davis will be making stops at college campuses across the Commonwealth to hear from students

PENNSYLVANIA – Last night, Lieutenant Governor Austin Davis kicked off a statewide college campus tour at the University of Pittsburgh with students from Pitt and Carnegie Mellon University to meet with young voters and increase student engagement ahead of the midterm elections.

As a first generation college graduate and Pitt-Greensburg alumni, Lt. Governor Davis went to campus to meet with students after a phone bank where they talked to Pennsylvania voters and continued their work to win in November.

“Students across Pennsylvania are getting off the sidelines to get involved as we get closer to Election Day because the stakes of these midterms could not be higher,” said Lt. Governor Austin Davis. “This campaign is about continuing to build a Commonwealth where the next generation can thrive, whether that’s by investing in education or creating economic opportunities — and I’m excited to connect with young voters and talk about the issues that matter most to them as I visit more college campuses.”

Lt. Governor Davis is running for reelection with Governor Josh Shapiro to continue getting stuff done for all Pennsylvanians so that the next generation can build their futures here in the Commonwealth — from delivering historic funding for public education and making higher education more affordable to putting money back in people’s pockets and creating good-paying jobs, to protecting our freedoms and our democracy.

This fall, Lt. Governor Davis will be visiting more college campuses across the Commonwealth to mobilize students to volunteer and get out the vote for the midterms.
