NEW AD: Shapiro for Pennsylvania Launches New TV and Digital Ad Highlighting Governor Shapiro’s Work to Create Jobs and Economic Opportunity

PENNSYLVANIA – Today, the Shapiro for Pennsylvania campaign released a new TV and digital ad highlighting Governor Josh Shapiro’s focus on creating economic opportunity across Pennsylvania and investing in the apprenticeships that are strengthening our workforce and opening up new pathways to success for Pennsylvanians.
In “Shop Class,” Ryan, a worker in Western Pennsylvania, shares how he found his career path through an apprenticeship program – the kind of opportunity-creating apprenticeship Governor Shapiro has fought for and invested in as Governor. The Governor has a proven track record of expanding workforce opportunities across the Commonwealth – increasing funding for career and technical education (CTE) by nearly 50 percent since taking office – and this ad underscores how these increased investments are creating pathways to good-paying jobs right here in Pennsylvania.
The Shapiro for Pennsylvania campaign is continuing to outline the Governor’s record of getting stuff done for Pennsylvanians and delivering results on the issues that matter most for communities all across the Commonwealth.
