Governor Josh Shapiro launched his reelection campaign to keep getting stuff done, protecting real freedom, and moving Pennsylvania forward.

PENNSYLVANIA – Today, Shapiro for Pennsylvania announced that Governor Josh Shapiro has raised over $400,000 in online contributions in the two days since launching his reelection campaign – driven by a $41 average donation. This significant haul spans the 48 hours after Governor Shapiro Shapiro launched his campaign – and it builds on the news that the Governor ended 2025 with over $30 million in cash on hand – starting 2026 in a position of unprecedented strength.

With this level of support, Shapiro for Pennsylvania reported the most money raised and the highest ending cash balance during the off-year ahead of an election of any Pennsylvania gubernatorial campaign on record. This historic fundraising strength comes as a result of contributions from all 67 counties across Pennsylvania and all 50 states – and after raising over $23 million in 2025 and over $10 million in the 4th quarter of the year alone. 

This news comes after the Shapiro for Pennsylvania campaign kicked off with two major rallies in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia Thursday – starting this reelection with a massive show of strength and ready to run on a strong record of bringing people together to deliver results.
