One Week Ago Today: Governor Josh Shapiro Launched His Reelection with Rallies Across Pennsylvania and a Massive Show of Strength

Governor Shapiro begins his reelection campaign with massive enthusiasm and a campaign ready to run on a strong record of bringing people together to deliver results.

PENNSYLVANIAOne week ago today, Governor Josh Shapiro officially launched his reelection campaign with rallies in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia — marking the start of a campaign focused on delivering results, protecting fundamental freedoms, and moving the Commonwealth forward.

Supporters, labor leaders, elected officials, and Pennsylvanians from across the Commonwealth packed both events to stand with a Governor who’s got their backs and has a track record of bringing Republicans and Democrats together and getting stuff done for all Pennsylvanians.

Governor Josh Shapiro: The good people of Pennsylvania have always been my North Star – and I’m focused every day on delivering for them. That’s why, with a servant’s heart and a hunger to do more, I’m running for reelection as Governor of this great Commonwealth.

Governor Josh Shapiro: We’re going to send a message in this campaign – that division does not define us, progress is still possible when we work together, and we can build a Commonwealth where everyone has the opportunity to succeed. Let’s do this.

Following his reelection campaign launch, Governor Shapiro sat down for a series of conversations and appearances to meet folks where they are and engage directly with the voices that are shaping our Commonwealth.

Then, on Saturday, the Governor sat down with 10 content creators in Philadelphia to discuss everything from food and sports, to raising the minimum wage, keeping our schools safe, and protecting our freedoms and our democracy. Governor Shapiro knows how critical content creators and online voices are to this reelection campaign and to moving this Commonwealth forward – and they’ll always have a seat at the table in this campaign.
